I've wanted a good camera for a long time. I've blogged about it, posted about it on Facebook and lamented to my friends about my desire to have a really nice camera. So when I won a fancy new Olympus PEN Lite E-PL3 from Rockin' Mama, I knew it was meant to be! It's probably been about a month since I got my new baby in the mail, and I have to say I am in love. I also have to say I really don't know anything about nice, fancy cameras. I almost feel I'm not worthy of such a lovely device. What I've learned, however, in the last month since owning my Olympus PEN? This is such a good camera, that I don't really have to know what I'm doing in order to take great pictures! Here are some of my favorites.
What do you think of that last photo? I believe I used one of the art filter settings for this one. There are a number of settings to choose from that allow you to customize your photos based on your subject, the lighting, etc. I wish I could give you a full review of the camera, but since I don't feel that I yet have a good understanding of what all it does, I'll have to just leave you with the evidence that even a novice like myself can take beautiful pictures with the Olympus PEN Lite E-PL3.
Can anyone recommend a good tutorial or book on digital photography for absolute beginners like me? Thanks.
